Ahem... well I have the dubious pleasure of writing the first post about city safety. I was traveling in a line of traffic earlier that came to an abrupt halt not long after pulling away from a set of lights in west London. The scenic in front of me did an emergency stop, I wasn't going particularly quickly I would say 15mph, I had around 20 feet when I put my foot on the brake, then the city safety kicked in emergency stopping me about 5 feet short of the car in front. Message came up on the display notifying me city safety had just taken over. What took me by surprise was all 4 wheels were locked, it was a pretty aggressive stop plus the final distance between me and the car in front was quite sizable. I'm in no doubt that I would have stopped the car. I think what triggered it was the abruptness of the stop the car in front had just done coupled with the fact that I was still moving.

Well there you go...

That's always a fun experience indeed.
It happens to me occasionally when I drive up to the gates in a parking garage and break late, or slowly role towards them...
Normally city safety only works when your foot is off the clutch and breaks.[hr]

Same here.

I approached the parking garage gate in high speed. When city safety activated, the braking was so brutal, that for a second I thought I somehow must have hit something, so I rushed out of the car to look, but the car was ok. When I returned to the drivers seat, I noticed the message. Now I do not have to test it out as planned.
