As the snowy season is finally coming closer, I'm curious for which winter wheels other V40-Owners are going.

Today I've been searching the web for aftermarket alloy wheels for the V40. Without any success ...

Perhaps I'm the only one, but I have just had my winter wheels fitted - on steel wheels.
It isn't as pretty as the summer wheels, but I would rather have a new phone than alloy wheels :)

I have just ordered the cheapest 16" alloys I could find with Michelin Alpin A4 tires.

What will you pay for it (all in)?[hr]

Are they with exactly the same offset (52,5 mm) as originals?

I had a hard time finding aftermarket rims for winter tires and I ended up with these and the offset is 45 mm. The dealer assured me I won’t notice the difference. Hopefully that’s true. I’m a bit worried the sides of the car will get dirty more easily as the wheels are going to be 7 mm more outwards.

My tires will be Nokia Hakkapeliitta 7. It seems I have to install them quite soon :s.

I also have hard times finding winter wheels, as the new V40 is not yet available for selection online. I am also not sure about what offsets work for the V40.

The local Volvo dealer currently has nice deal on Matres and Mannan. I already have Mannan for summer tyres and Matres are in my taste slightly on the small side. Segomo is very expensive at the dealer.

Any tips on nice 17s suiting the V40 in white?

If I do not find anything on the aftermarket, I will go for Matres. It is already snowing here in Warsaw today..

Local dealer suggests ET 40. they are available between ET 35 and 50. 40 is the one to go for? I will see about the price, will cost more than Matres for sure, question is how much

Today another dealer suggested I should get these with ET 45 in 17s and fit 225/45 on them. Is he right? I'll wait till Wednesday than. Beginning to like these more than Matres.
Hey bad news, because of some problems with my licence plates + thursday and fryday are most things are closed (holiday) i will have to wait a week longer. The size of the tyre is wright i will let you know the price you would pay in Belgium in our shop. Normally the offset doesn't make a difference in the price

unlucky.

I contaced ATS this morning, they suggest ET40, dealer ET 45. What difference will that make and will both fit? Now I am little confused what to do. As the rims are and outgoing model, I want those that fit, not those that are left ion stock.
