Removing/Replacing manual gear knob & illuminating the shifter

Hello there,

Can somebody please gave me direct instructions or direct me to some video link for removing/replacing manual gear knob on V40 2014.
On my shifter, the reverse is next to the 1st gear. I need to replace the actual one with new, but can not take it off. I remove the plastics, but nob is the hard part.
Also, my gear knob is not illuminated, and the new one is same, but illuminated, with cable attached.
Does somebody have experience with illuminating gear knob, cause here I need to bring the power from somewhere to the cable on the nob?

I know it might look nice, but my own thoughts are why bother? The TFT display shows what gear you are in, and if you need to look at the gear knob each time you change gear to see where to move it to, you perhaps didn't ought to be driving (tongue in cheek - not a dig at you personally) ;)

Listen, your comment is totally unnecessary. So make yourself a service and remove it or I will report it! It is not at all question do I know to change gears, and if you're not helping here, refrain from stupid comments.
